21. 1994-2002 DODGE RAM 1500 2500 3500 STEERING BRACE
FITS THUREN FABRICATION AND CARLI SWAY BAR.
Designed to help the sector shaft on steering box from flexing when turning steering wheel. This in turn will tighten up your steering wheel feel and stop a lot of the road wondering. These units are designed around using aftermarket sway bars like Thuren or Carli. They fit OEM sway bars too.

- 3/16 1080 metal
- 4130 CNC Milled pitman arm nut, with zinc coating. Most other brands use check hex stock and easily mill it down. We start from 2" chromoly bar. Our spud nut also has self centering feature for the lock washer to create even pressure on pitman arm. This is what sets us apart from everyone else. These are made in house on our cnc's.

There is an aftermarket box out there that has a long shaft section from a auto parts store that I have not been able to pin point down the manufacture just yet, if so we have spacer to remedy the issue. We have only seen it twice so most likely you will not have an issue. But want to make it public so there is no surprises.

Modifications maybe needed for plow mounts
( I will not know what needs to be done, many
different plow brands do different things) - There are a ton of aftermarket boxes and we can not test each one. Twice we have seen that the brace needs to be spaced down to clear the bearing plate, we have a spacer if needed.

- Spud nut is left longer due to lifts and aftermarket boxes.

Brace fit the sway bar holes perfectly. Yet not quite enough clearance lateraly to quite center the hole around the steering gear output shaft. Had to slightly file the bearing mount holes to fit over the "spud" nut. Also don't know why the "spud" nut has an extra 1.25" of material past the bearing collar. Would have cut it off in the lathe had I not already loctited and torqued. Quality of components and finish is excellent. Thanks!

All around quality part. The welds look nice, powder coating is excellent and the fitment is perfect. It fits great with a Thuren track bar installed.
i ordered a second steering brace for mt 2001 dodge, now i've ordered one for my 1999 dodge.
Probably the beat looking brace I have installed on a dodge and thankfully for me it went on my personal vehicle. Seemed alot more sturdy and much better welding then alot of other braces that cost more. Bearing was heavy duty and quality and it came with all the hardware that you need where alot of other braces dont. Personally ill be recommending bad axes brace from now on to my customers and it makes a big difference in the steering
