This unit was designed to keep the factory sway bar disconnect sway bar but go frame to frame to add rigidity like all the other model Rams. Designed to help the sector shaft on steering box from flexing when turning steering wheel. This in turn will tighten up your steering wheel feel and stop a lot of the road wondering, saves your box from prematurely wearing out. These units are designed around using aftermarket sway bars like Thuren or Carli. They fit OEM sway bars too. If you do anything that the PW is designed to do offroad, you will want this bar to save the box life and make sure you don't break a selector shaft out on the trail.
