This Unit was designed just for the popular PSC boxes. You are here reading this because you are probably sick and tired of the Ram steering wonder AND wearing out your box in 60k miles, or you already know the benefits of the brace but your old set up doesn't fit your Aftermarket big box with small shaft. These bars are designed to help the sector shaft on steering box from flexing when turning steering wheel. This in turn will tighten up your steering wheel feel and stop a lot of the road wondering, and saves your box from prematurely wearing out. These units are designed around using aftermarket sway bars like Thuren or Carli where most braces don't.

- 3/16 1080 metal
- 4130 CNC Milled pitman arm nut, with zinc coating. Most other brands use hex stock and easily mill it down. We start from 2" chromoly bar. Our Spud nut also has self centering feature for the lock washer to create even pressure on pitman arm.

There has been a recent change to the PSC box size, we now have have modified it to fit both styles.
Some lift kits may require you to do modifications for fitment. Does not fit all Carli 6" lifts.

7/8" is small, just under 1.25" is large (30mm) shaft not nut. Super easy to tell just by looking at it. But if you don't know how to read a tape well, use the open end of a 7/8" wrench on the shaft to verify. We are not responsible for you selecting wrong size shaft nuts. - DOES NOT FIT POWER WAGONS if you still have the OEM sway bar

Modifications maybe needed for plow mounts
( I will not know what needs to be done, many
different plow brands do different things) - You may need to modify for aftermarket boxes or lift kits.

Everything about this box brace is premium. The brace is stout, and welds and finish look amazing.
The “nut” for the gear box has a nice flat surface that is a little bit bigger in diameter than the lock washer so it gets full engagement and mitigates it from coming loose. I have seen these “nuts” get loose and even come fully unthreaded and have the pitman arm fall off on other box braces. Glad to see badaxe didn’t cut any corners on this key part.
Other than that install was easy, and a made great improvement on the steering and got rid of that little bit extra slack.
Ive owned my truck for many years and this is the best its ever handled. This helped take out the extra slack and wondering I had in my steering after replacing entire front end, would definitely recommend this part to help cure the slack steering these trucks tend to have
Put on my 2008 dodge with an upgraded 6 bolt steering box. Fit great and definitely helped reduce the slop in my steering. Great customer service as well and got shipped out quickly.
